I finally updated my friends list.

Here's a good site for Saiyuki scans http://www.saiyuki.it/menu.html.  Deep Discount now sells books & CD's in additon to DVD's & they have english manga for cheap!  It's about $1-$2 less than retail.  Books in general are also cheaper.  They have free shipping (meaning it takes forever).

One day I'll get to tagging all my entries. . . one day. . . 

I'll post some theories & questions I have about The Dream Hunter later.  & I'm tempted to write a oneshot of Artemis & Acheron because there's this pesky little scene that keeps popping up in my head.  I wonder how this'll turn out LOL

I saw Eragon the movie today.  I liked it better than the Harry Potter movies.  The acting was much better than I expected.  No matter how corny I anticipated a scene to be, most of the characters, especially the main actor who played Eragon, Ed Speleers, managed to look cool.  In fact, the ironic thing is, the supposed anti-hero in the book, Murtagh, was played by a crappy actor.  Murtagh didn't come off as cool.  He seemed like he was trying too hard to be badass.

Since the budget for the movie was $125 million, I expected the special effects to be better.  Lord of the Rings had better special effects & their budget was around that, for ALL 3 movies.

If one can disregard the obvious similarities to Star Wars & Lord of the Rings, it's certainly an enjoyable movie.

This is too funny not to post. Apparently actress Natasha Lyonne was charged with threatening to sexually molest a dog.

"Dog molestation charges! Oh, to be a fly on the wall for one of those rehabilitation meetings (“But you should’ve see this dog, man, it was really something. There's an ad for a special Bleach Shinigami book thingy coming out December 4, 2006. I'd love to get my hands on it. I really need to replenish my manga stock. No actually, what I really need is money.

LOL Bleach 252 was kinda funny. I find Nell cute & endearing. Kubo never stops with the surprises.

By the way, I recently read Dark Fever by Karen Marie Moning, & I was surprised by how good it was. The fact that she wrote a fantasy, mystery in spite of the fact that she's a romance writer, speaks volumes about how talented she is.

I can't wait to read the next 4 books in the Fever series. Too bad they come out like once a year.

Woo Hyuk is back with his sophmore album, My Way. I think the songs are catchier & better than his first album. I can't wait to see his performances! I particularly liked his ode to Michael Jackson, Mr. Jackson LOL

Gwen Stefani's new song, Wind It Up is also pretty good. I love the yodeling in the song! Very innovative & funny.

So Orihime isn't as clueless as she seems! I didn't see that one comeing, smart girl! I knew she did well academically, but in most situations she's usually naive & ignorant. The Arrancar also explain why she gave in to them so easily. A lot of us thought Kubo did it on purpose, like that speech Mayuri threw in when he was fighting Ishida. I'm glad Kubo doesn't disappoint!

More than a year ago my friend sent me something she read on a japanese forum about the 9 demons or mythical beasts that might potentially make an appearance in Naruto. We googled the list, but didn't get much information. I was procrastinating studying so I ended up finding this about the beasts. It's sooooooooo much better!!!
